In the wake of the David Guggenheim/Anderson Cooper 60 minutes, and the calls for "Don't be such a scientist"...
Suppose, as a scientist (or as a group of scientists) you have engaged the public, suppose you have reached out to politicians, suppose everyone fully understands the threat to coral reefs, species extinction, global warming, etc. Everyone is all fired up to do something about it.... and then nothing happens. Politicians don't take action.
Now what?
Perhaps it's time for lower trophic levels (=the 99 %) to do something about it.
