The Environmental Epigenetics Lab (EELab – environmentalepigenetics.com<http://environmentalepigenetics.com/>) at Florida International University (FIU) is looking for a graduate student (Ph.D.) interested in investigating the impacts of water quality and climate change within coral reef ecosystems under the advisement of Drs. Jose Eirin-Lopez and Juliet Wong. As part of their Ph.D. work, the student will be expected to engage in a collaborative effort to study the epigenetic and phenotypic responses of long-spined sea urchins (Diadema antillarum) to their environment. The fieldwork portion of this project will take place primarily in Puerto Rico in collaboration with local partners. Interested candidates will be required to apply to the Graduate Program in the Department of Biological Sciences at FIU (http://biology.fiu.edu/graduate/) with an anticipated start date of Fall 2022. For more information, please send a statement of interest and curriculum vitae to Drs. Eirin-Lopez and Wong at jeirinlo at fiu.edu<mailto:jeirinlo at fiu.edu> by November 4, 2021.
